General

The Sennheiser E 901 is a half-cardioid condenser microphone for your kick drum. The boundary microphone has a very robust housing and an integrated preamp. Place it in or just in front of your kick drum and the sound will be registered perfectly. The frequency range from 20 to 20,000 Hz is optimised for kick drums. The E 901 is also very well suited for a Leslie speaker or other low-frequency instruments.

E 901: quick and handy to use
You won't need any complicated shockmounts or clips for the Sennheiser E 901. You can place it directly in front or in your kick drum. The solid rubber anti-slip mat at the bottom reduces the picking up of ambient noise and ensures that the microphone doesn't move during the recording.
