The Boss XS-100 Poly Shifter offers unprecedented possibilities for pitch shifting, while preserving the natural sound of your instrument. Thanks to BOSS' advanced technology, there are no unwanted side noises or artefacts, which is often a challenge with traditional pitch shifters. The advanced DSP platform and carefully developed algorithms ensure a smooth and musical polyphonic performance, regardless of your playing style, the position of your pickups or your pedalboard setup. Complex chords and sustained lead tones are reproduced with stunning clarity, so the essence of your sound is always preserved.

XS-100 Poly Shifter: Full control

The XS-100 puts you in full control of your pitch effects. The pedal offers linear pitch control over four octaves up or down, and the independent speeds for each direction make it easy to create motor-like sounds or other interesting effects. At the end of the pedal movement, you can use the integrated switch for instantaneous pitch changes, with an adjustable range and rise time. In addition, two foot pedals are available that you can use to bypass pitch-shifting or to quickly retune your instrument in semitone steps over eight octaves.

Set up to your own taste

The XS-100 offers numerous possibilities to adjust the pitch effects completely to your liking. Set range settings for different songs or playing techniques and adjust the response curve to perfectly suit your style. The toe switch and foot pedals can be assigned for alternative functions at your discretion. The detune option lets you create rich dubbing effects and there are countless other ways to further refine your sound. Store your settings in one of the 30 memory locations so you can quickly recall them during live performances or studio work.

Easy to integrate

The XS-100 integrates effortlessly into any pedalboard or rig. Up to two external foot pedals or an expression pedal can be connected for extra real-time control. The MIDI I/O port allows you to use the pedal in more advanced ways, from external MIDI control to sending MIDI commands through the pedal and foot pedals. There is also a secondary output that mirrors the input signal, allowing flexible routing for more complex rigs.
