As such, it's ideal for live performances and studio use. This TASCAM vocal processor offers you everything you need for a modern vocal sound.
The front panel of the TA-VP1 is fitted with a high-grade XLR microphone input with phantom power for condenser microphones. Processing options are laid out in easy-to-use blocks on the front panel and each block has its own buttons and meters that show you exactly how the signal is being processed. Antares microphone and tube modelling technology takes the signal and provides it with the characteristics of another microphone, offering you a large collection of classics to choose from.
The de-essing module eliminates sibilance from your signal before variable-knee compression and gating, and an impressive-sounding digital EQ is the last link in the chain before the signal is ready for output.
The TV-1VP features an Auto-Tune module that can be set for any level of pitch correction, in a wide range of user-selectable scales. All settings can be recalled by means of presets on the front panel or via MIDI. The rear panel of the vocal recorder is fitted with balanced TRS inputs and outputs, including a double Track Out for the simulation of doubled vocals. A S/PDIF digital output is also at your disposal.
The TASCAM TA-1VP is the only hardware processor with Auto-Tune technology for impeccable vocal intonation and is suitable for any audio application from live performances to studio mixdowns.
