AKG WMS 40 Mini2 Vocals and Instruments wireless microphone set for ISM2 ISM3

Used AKG C414 as stable voice recording mics in BBC radio recordings. This and the AKG headset teamed together to provide DJ and Choreographer PA for Line Dancing - not disappointed. Handheld mic produces a well rounded tone. Switch is a bit cheap but mute position does provide silent operation. Body pack transmitter is small - it too provides mute position on its switch. The receiver is small as well, with two balanced outputs - one per mic. The 30 hour usage on one set of batteries has yet to be tested - only had the set for two weeks. The only downside is no channel selection. The channel for each radio mic is preset. Never had problem with co-interference with my channel selectable Shure and Gemini radio mics but time will tell.

Ik heb dit setje nu een week, en wat is het heerlijk spelen zonder draad aan de gitaar, ik ben hier super blij mee. Ik pak mijn microfoonstandaard op en kan gewoon goed soundchecken in de zaal. Het geluid van de microfoon is ronduit superieur, beter zelfs dan van mijn sure sm58 met draad. De gitaarzender geeft af en toe een ruisje, maar volgens enkele reviews kan dat aan het kabeltje liggen, (nog niet geprobeerd te vervangen) al met al een hele goeie sound. ik heb een batterijpack van 8 oplaadbare AA batterijen (conrad.nl) aan de ontvanger gezet, zodat ik de set helemaal stand alone kan gebruiken met een roland cube street EX. Na zo,n 6 uur spelen zijn alle batterijen nog bijna vol, ook die van de mic en het beltpack. groot compliment aan AKG, en fijn dat BAX hem redelijk snel kon leveren.
