What is a B-stock product?

A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.

B-stock information

The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.

General

The Lowden S32 Rosewood & Sitka Spruce is a beautiful western guitar that excels in clarity, definition and refinement. The solid spruce top is the beating heart of this instrument and is known for its wide dynamic range and powerful projection. Combined with the solid rosewood (rosewood) back and sides, this produces a clear sound with tight basses, sparkling overtones and exceptional balance. The use of high-quality, solid wood makes the S32 particularly suitable for guitarists who want to show detail and nuance in their playing, both solo and in an ensemble.

Expression and character

As you would expect from Lowden, this S32 was built entirely by hand in Ireland, with every part manufactured with extreme precision. The compact S-body (concert) provides a focused sound and intimate playing feel, while the signature hand-carved bracing optimises resonance and response. The finish is understated but luxurious, with a strong emphasis on playing comfort and performance. This makes the Lowden S32 Rosewood & Sitka Spruce a high-quality choice for the discerning guitarist looking for a hand-built instrument with a clear, expressive voice and unmistakable character.
