General
The Lowden O32-CE Rosewood & Sitka Spruce is the electro-acoustic model for guitarists who want to utilise the distinctive Lowden sound not only acoustically, but also when amplified to the highest standard. The solid Sitka spruce top provides power, clarity and a wide dynamic range, whilst the solid rosewood back and sides add rich overtones and a tight, defined bass response. Combined with the larger O-body (jumbo), this delivers a strikingly full, spacious tone with plenty of projection and sustain. The cutaway also makes higher frets easily accessible, ideal for solo work and modern arrangements.
L.R. Baggs Session VTC: natural sound, ready for the stage and studio
Where this CE version really stands out is the built-in L.R. Baggs Session VTC pickup/preamp. This system is renowned for its exceptionally natural, ‘microphone-like’ amplified sound, whilst retaining nuance, body and definition—exactly what you’re looking for in a premium electro-acoustic guitar. With the handy on-board Volume and Tone controls, you can quickly adjust your sound to suit the venue, PA system or amplifier, making the O32-CE an excellent choice for both live performances and recording sessions when you want a consistent, professional guitar sound without the hassle of microphone placement.
