Designed for pro drummers, each shell included in this set has been made from a unique combo of high-quality maple, birch and mahogany to complete a custom sonic profile that packs some hefty volume and improved sustain and resonance thanks to the lighter and thinner walls.

The Pearl Reference One Shell Set

The natural tone of the hybrid shells is reinforced by the all-new R2 Air tom mount system, which makes contact at just two points: the upper side and underside of the tension hoops. This intelligent method pulls even more resonance out of the toms than the older OptiMount system. In terms of configuration, this four-piece is made up of a 10 inch and 12 inch rack tom, a 16 inch floor tom and a 22 inch kick drum, blending a rock and fusion configuration by taking the slightly smaller toms from a rock kit and teaming them up with the more hefty floor tom and bass drum of a standard fusion kit.
