What is a B-stock product?

A product becomes B-stock when it can no longer be sold as new. It can simply be a product that has been returned by a customer or it may have packaging that is damaged or missing. It’s possible that the product itself may show slight signs of use or damage too. All B-stock products are fully checked to ensure that they work properly and you can find details of why the product is a B-stock in the information above.

B-stock information

The B-stock tab on the product page shows information about the B-stock product. Be aware that this information supersedes anything you may read in the product description. The product description includes text and specifications about the product in its brand-new state. It’s possible that a B-stock item may be missing accessories mentioned in the text or specifications, for instance, but if so, this will always be mentioned in the B-stock information. B-stock products also include photos of the actual B-stock item so that you can see exactly what it looks like.

B-stock photos

The B-stock photos allow you to see the actual B-stock product you are considering purchasing. The photos show the following::

  • Photo of the brand new product
  • Photo of the B-stock product with packaging (if included) and any accessories
  • Photo showing the front of the B-stock product
  • Photo showing the back of the B-stock product
  • Photo showing any damage to the B-stock product (if applicable)

Original packaging

Packaging in good condition: undamaged (sticky tape residue may be visible)
Packaging damaged: box has dents, tears and/or holes
Packaging missing: replaced with a Bax Music box

State of product:

New: the product itself is new, but the packaging may not look new
Signs of use (no damage or scratches): smudges, fingerprints and/or dust
Scratches/damage: product has scratches and/or damage

Can I return a B-stock product?

Yes! Our 30-Day Trial Period also applies to B-stock products.

Do B-stock products come with a warranty?

Yes! Our usual Bax Music warranty also applies to most B-stock products.

General

Hohner harmonicas have been sold for almost a hundred years, and they are still immensely popular, with beginners and professionals alike. Thanks to its innovative comb, the Special 20 was the first modern harmonica in the 1970s. Especially the lower keys, such as those of this Bb harmonica, were, and still are, very popular. This is mainly due to the quick response, the beautiful inflections of the tones and the rich and powerful tones that the Hohner Special 20 Bb can offer you. A harmonica in the key of Bb is usually used to play along with music in the key of F.

The Special 20

This harmonica from Hohner is, as you have already read, of excellent quality. Neither cost nor effort have been spared to offer you the most perfect harmonica. For instance, everything is checked by hand, including the harmonicas' tuning and construction. The materials have not been skimped on either, and this is very noticeable when you play this harmonica. You will notice how beautiful and solid this harmonica sounds thanks to its copper tongue plate and reeds. In addition, the mouthpiece of this Special 20 glides very smoothly along your lips, thanks to the plastic comb. Finally, the side plates are made of stainless steel, giving you a good grip on your harmonica and preventing it from rusting.
