General
Outfitted with a 10" woofer and a 1.35" horn-loaded compression driver, the Onyx 10 from Devine is a solid passive speaker that works well on its own but can also serve as part of a speaker system or a fixed installation. In terms of numbers, the Onyx 10 has a 220-Watt RMS power capacity at 8 Ohms, a maximum SPL of 116 dB and a 58 Hz to 19 kHz frequency range. Combine it with a subwoofer and crossover or speaker management system for even more possibilities, or simply up this passive speaker as a floor monitor or mount it on a stand using the 35mm stand flange on the bottom.
The Devine Onyx 18SXA
The Devine Onyx 18SXA is a suitable subwoofer for small DJ applications or permanent sound installations. This is an active 18-inch subwoofer to which you can connect two passive top speakers, such as the Devine Onyx 10. This 18-inch subwoofer delivers a substantial output and has plenty of power behind it, ranging from 840 watts RMS to 1000 watts nominal. That makes it great for lively parties with up to 100 guests. On the rear of the subwoofer you’ll find the connections, along with various switches that let you fine-tune the sound to your preference, such as the DSP selection between Main, Music, Live and Speech, or the stereo/mono setup switch. There’s also a phase switch to align the subwoofer with the rest of the speakers, and a ground-lift switch to eliminate ground loops.

Built for purpose, the build is not thick just wide so be prepared for them to take up a fair bit of space if it's just for a bedroom setup, a disco setup they will suit fine, I have mounted speakers that only weigh around 4kg each so cannot comment on weight load but the 35mm sits nice and tight.

Absolute rubbish. Van Damme cable is just horrible. Also the shell/clips were not grounded when I explored their work. The copper in the cable was all oxidised as well.
