The Markbass MB58R Cover CMD M protects your Markbass MB58R MINI CMD 121 when you are not using it, or on the road. It fits both the P, and Pure variants of the MINI CMD 121. Wrote the following about Markbass MB58R COVER CMD M Standard sleeve for MB58R MINI CMD 121 bass amplifier combo

Om met het positieve te beginnen: de hoes is lekker dik en beschermd de combo daardoor goed. Bovenin zit een netjes afgewerkt gat, zodat je makkelijk bij het handvat van de combo komt.

Wat ik minder vind: ondanks dat de cover van Markbass zelf is, is hij in mijn ogen net te kort (de onderkant van de combo piept er net 0,5 cm onderuit). En hij zit nogal los om de combo. Daardoor schuift de combo uit de hoes als je hem op z’n kant in de auto legt. Ik dacht dat het een productiefout was (ook omdat ik B-stock kocht), maar een mailtje met foto’s naar de Markbass klantenservice leerde me dat zij dit normaal vinden. En dat het vooral handig is om de hoes snel om de combo te doen of er weer af te halen. Ik krijg echter de neiging om iets van elastiek of klittenband aan de onderkant te gaan maken, zodat de hoes goed blijft zitten. Mijn ervaring met de hoes van de Ampeg RB-112 (die ik hiervoor had) is dat het echt veel beter kan.

Als B-stock voor een schappelijke prijs zou ik nog wel 4 sterren willen geven. Maar voor de nieuwprijs vind ik dit maar 3 sterren waard. De combo zelf is wel geweldig!
