Sinds een aantal weken gebruik ik deze bas amp voor twee doelen, basgitaar en voor saxofoon met geluidseffecten. Geweldig fijn geluid en oude bas klinkt ineens veel beter! Het lichte gewicht is een enorme pre. Je bent de eerste keer verbaasd hoe licht de amp is, erg fijn voor transport!

Ik heb gekeken naar de afmetingen van deze combo en wat vond ik; de Fender Rumble 100 hoes voor maar 22€.

Een lichtgewicht combo met een fenomenaal geluid. Uiterst gedefinieerd en kan met gemak een mooie bastoon produceren, zelfs tot de lage B-snaar. Een meer vintage (wat doffer) geluid maken kan super gemakkelijk door de VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator) draaiknop, zodat je zelfs in een live setting vrij eenvoudig kunt switchen van sound. Ideaal voor wanneer je niet wil slepen naar je repetitie(s) maar wel genoeg power bij je wilt hebben.

Mijn “oude”Minimark 802 omgeruild voor de MB58121P! Mijn repetitie Fender Studio Rumble 40 is via XLR doorgezet naar deze Markbass bij een groter concert en het geluid is precies dezelfde Fender sound(s) maar dan nog veel harder! Dus….??

Na het thuis uittesten van de Fender Rumble 500 V3 gekozen voor de Markbass MB58R Mini CMD 121P: de plussen zitten in de 12 inch speaker en het lichtgewicht van 10.5kg. Wat onhandig aan de achterkant is de aansluiting voor de line-out en de stroom.
