General
This 22-inch EMAD2 clear bass drum batter head is the 2-ply version of the clear EMAD head. It's made of two plies of film - a 6.5mil outer ply and a 10mil inner ply - which offers excellent attack, and enhanced focus and durability.
EMAD
The EMAD moniker stands for Externally Mounted Adjustable Damping, which refers to the two included damping rings that you get with this head. These rings allow you to fine-tune your bass drum sound by determining how much resonance and sustain you want, without compromising the kick drum's attack and its dynamic range.
In short, this fantastic, 22-inch clear bass drum batter head will have your kick drum sounding fantastic in no time.

Na het monteren direct de gewenste sound. Mooie droge en toch vette attack met de kleinste dempingsring.
Geen extra vulling nodig. Dit is echt een prima vel waar je alle genres mee aan kan. Ook de levering was weer correct. Top!

Naast de EQ4 is dit ook mijn favoriete drumvel voor de bassdrum. Ideaal voor een lekkere droge, volle sound. Demping in de bassdrum zelf is eigenlijk niet meer noodzakelijk, misschien iets bij het voorvel. De enkellaags heeft mijn voorkeur, klinkt wat vetter qua attack. Musthave voor alle drummers!

Jeetje wat een geluid, ik heb hem op mijn Tama Superstar Hyperdrive bass gemonteerd echt super strak geluid het geeft mijn Bass echt de korte bass geluid die ik moest hebben, ook de verwisselbare ronde stuk schuim die je kan wisselen om nog strakker geluid te krijgen, ga er nog een bestellen voor mijn Yamaha Custom Stage Advantage Nouveau

In één woord: wauw! Dit is precies de zware, moddervette bassdrum sound waar ik al lang naar op zoek ben. Met de dunne dempring gemonteerd blijft er voldoende galm en klank van de bass over om een vol geluid te krijgen.
Naast de twee makkelijk te monteren (en verwijderen) schuimrubberen dempringen krijg je er ook een wit slam pad bij om op het contactvlak te plakken waar de klopper het vel raakt.

Standaard bassdrumvel die ik gebruik. Er zit een grote en kleinere dempring bij en met de grote dempring erop hoef ik nooit meer handdoeken of lakens in mijn bassdrum te stoppen om het beste geluid eruit te halen. Super!

Dit vel is echt top!
Heb hem al vaker gebruikt bij verschillende maten basdrum!
Easy om te tunen als je van een harde doffe dreun houd hoef je al bijna niks te doen, dit vel heeft het gewoon al!
(helaas is de prijs minder aantrekkelijk, maar kwaliteit kost nou eenmaal een beetje meer!!)
