Delivering classic Ambassador-grade response but with improved control and fattened up sound, Remo Ambassador SMT Coated bass drumheads feature in-house developed Sub Muffle tech that effectively reins in the mids and trebles and gives the low-end more power and punch. This coated drumhead has a single-ply, 10-mil-thick construction and comes fitted with an acoustic foam-rubber outer ring, which is where the new tech lies. The broad tonal range that results makes this head a great pick for jazz and modern drummers, whether they're working in the studio or on stage.
