Remo's Ambassador Ebony bass drumheads are single-ply skins fashioned out of a 10mil thick mylar film. Usable as either a batter or resonant head, this 18" model really opens up in terms of sound and delivers warm tones, bright attack and lengthy sustain.

Wrote the following about Remo ES-1018-00 18-inch Ambassador Ebony Bass Drumhead

Een klassieker, de Remo Ambassador. Dit enkellaagsvel klinkt vooral helder en is dan ook een prima allround vel. Er zit een duidelijke attack in en de klank is mooi 'open'. In vergelijking met de clear versie lijkt dit vel wat 'darker' te klinken. Als je echte power wilt moet je een ander vel kiezen (Remo Emperor of de pinstripe bijvoorbeeld). Tip: plak een Falam Slam of ander soort sticker (of knip een stukje uit een oud vel) waar de klopper het vel raakt. Geeft meer attack en je vel gaat veel langer mee! Aanrader!
