General
The Control XL Beater is based on the original Control Beater and was made in collaboration with John 'J.R' Robinson. What's special about this beater is that you can change the weight very easily. You get four weights included. Each weight weighs 10 grams. Without weights, the beater weighs 80 grams. With all weights, you have a 120-gram beater. Both a felt and a wooden head are supplied. Both are square, for maximum contact with the sheet. This gives you some extra attack and volume. The rod to which the head is attached is relatively long and has a length of 21.6 cm (8.5 inches).
