The fully analogue Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe (from the SansAmp Character Series) is a fusion of the VT Bass and Bass Driver Deluxe. The VT Bass offers an amazingly accurate tone emulation of a famous American bass amplifier brand, while the Bass Driver D.I. Deluxe royally contributes with its extensive functionality. Via three foot switches, you can activate and store your favourite settings (up to 6 presets) and a fourth switch allows you to go from bank to instrument or engage the effects loop. Additionally, the VT Bass Deluxe can be used as a neutral D.I.

The options of the VT Bass Deluxe

The SansAmp VT Bass Deluxe features two instrument inputs, a parallel output (dry signal), send/return, and an XLR output for a direct connection to a mixer. Use the six controls, ranging from clean vintage sounds to rough overdrives and smashing distortions, to accurately edit your personal sounds. Press a foot switch twice to store a setting. Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe (SansAmp Character Series)

Zelf heb ik een Ampeg SVT-VR en weet dus wel hoe een buizen versterker moet klinken. Na lang zoeken en zoeken ben ik uiteindelijk terecht gekomen bij de VT Bass. Natuurlijk is het geen echte buizenbak maar weegt dan ook niet 35 kg! Echt qua sound is dit een heerlijk ding waarmee je moeiteloos een lekkere dikke bass kan creeren. Ook voor een modern geluid, dance/disco zeer geschikt. De band waar ik in speel doet veel optredens waar we en disco en pop/rock spelen. De geluidsman zei:"Tjezus wat heb jij nu een lekker dik en open geluid!". Waarom programmeerbaar? Je weet dat je een 6 tal bruikbare geluiden onder de knop hebt zitten zonder gedoe! (ik speel in ear en ook daar klinkt mijn bass nu zoals ik hem zou willen horen). Een aanrader dus!
