Tech 21's SansAmp Bass Driver DI Version 2 has the received some extra switches and is an upgrade of the popular original. This means it's now perfect for 5 and 6-string basses as well. This DI allows you to connect your bass directly to studio mixers and live PAs and the on-board controls allow you to dial in the perfect sound. Everything from classic tube tones, with or without distortion to modern, full-range tones are at your disposal.

Besides the tried and tested settings for the drive level and EQ, the second edition comes with a few sweet extras. A switch that adjust the bass frequencies has been added, as well as a mid-range control with a switch, so you can hook up 5 and even 6 string basses and be assured of optimal amplified sound.
