500-Watts-strong, yet still compact and thankfully lightweight and easy to lug: the Darkglass Alpha·Omega 500 gives your bass sound the richness of a fully analogue preamp and the brutal ferocity of both an Alpha and Omega distortion circuit. Flip into Alpha, and you're rewarded with tight tone with a brilliantly sickening punch and masses of definition, while Omega gives you that pure brutality. The foundation of the 500 is shaped by the new, Darkglass-developed Class-D power amp and ultra-silent graphic equaliser, all made in Finland and housed in an immediately recognisable housing.

The Alpha·Omega 500: The Comprehensive Gigging Tool

Due to popular demand, Darkglass have included a digital impulse response cabinet emulator in the architecture of the Alpha·Omega 500. This can be applied to both the headphone output as well as the XLR DI output, so that you're assured of the best possible sound quality whether on stage or in the studio, and since this is a pro-grade amp, an FX loop has been fitted to accommodate your pedalboard. This head can even be hooked up to a computer via USB, to connect with the Darkglass Suite, where you can toggle and tweak all of the various parameters with more deep-diving accuracy.

Wrote the following about Darkglass Alpha·Omega 500 Bass Guitar Amplifier Head

Versterker top staat er in de omschrijving, maar ik zeg top versterker. In combinatie met mijn basgitaar met darkglass pre amp is het geluid niet te beschrijven, maar zo goed! Ik ga de andere review niet herhalen, had ik meer budget kocht ik de 900W omwille van de uitgebreidere functies maar je hoort me dus niet klagen. PS ik had meer dan 20 jaar op Ampeg gespeeld en was daar heel tevreden over deze overteft em wel, hopelijk kan hij ook zo lang mee. 1x mee opgetreden en ik kreeg commentaar dat die verterker echt een beest is en men wees naar mijn 6u in ear rack. Grappig toen ik zei dat het uit dat klein bakje kwam er bovenop..

machtige versterker! de mogelijkheid om clean met distortion te mengen is super. de optie om 3 afzonderlijke cab simulaties te programmeren zorgt ervoor dat u het geluid kan bereiken die je wil. doordat deze 500 watt kan leveren op 4 ohm is het mogelijk 2 cabinets te koppelen aan elkaar.

deze amp is zo verassend krachtig dat bij eerste gebruik er zelfs interieur sneuvelde. high class kwaliteit voor een goede prijs. wie fan is van het ruige zware geluid dan is deze amp zeker een aanrader!

hij is compact en een licht gewicht in vergelijking met de soortgenoten. wat zeker een voordeel is voor artiesten die veel op de baan zijn.

de kwaliteit van omhuizing is robuust en mooi afgewerkt. een top product, jammer dat het niet eerder op de markt verscheen!
