Gallien-Krueger MB200 bass guitar amplifier head

General

The MB200 is a genuine Gallien-Krueger in a very compact package. This mini bass amp head sounds much bigger than it looks thanks to its class-D main amp and the renowned GK active 4-band equalizer. Thanks to the state-of-the-art main amp, the MB200 weighs only 2 pounds. It was designed for maximum performance and still be as lightweight an user-friendly as possible, and boy, did they succeed!

Gallien-Krueger MB200: versatile sounds

Don't be fooled by the extremely small housing of the MB200, as it produces full-blown Gallien-Krueger bass sounds. What's more, it was fitted with GK's famous active equalizer that is specially voiced for four bass-guitar-specific frequency ranges. The EQ allows you to easily create a veritable plethora of very usable sounds. Additionally, the MB200 features a contour switch that scoops the mids and boosts the bass and treble. The gain control is a volume control that allows you to go from clean to the typical GK edge

Extensive connectivity

On the back of the amp is Gallien-Krueger's high-end DI output with pre/post switch. Additionally, there's an aux input to connect your MP3 player or iPod to, so you can play along with your favourite tunes. Next to it is a headphone connector that you can turn into a line output for powered speaker cabinets or external amplifier with the push of a button. Lastly, the MB200 has a SpeakOn output that is suitable for 4, 8 and 16-ohm speakers.
