The Orange OB1-300 is a unique bass amplifier! Actually, it is a bass amp combined with a guitar amplifier that is the result of demand for a good, proper bass sound with a rough edge. The blend control allows you to mix the amount of distortion of one channel with the original bass sound of the other. It is as if you're using two different amplifiers, one for the deeper bass sound and one for distortion. The result is a bass sound that you can freely adjust to your liking and which can be used for many situations and types of music.

Orange OB1-300: one of a kind

Where other amplifiers distort the entire signal, the OB1 has a different approach: it splices the signal and allows you to adjust the intensity with the gain knob. The combination of gain and blend controls allows for subtle tone changes or dramatic overdrives! The OB1-300 is equipped with an active EQ (which also allows for subtle or dramatic changes) of up to 10 dB +/-. Its 300 watts of power brought forth via two rugged, locking SpeakOn connectors.
