Heerlijke versterker. Simpel qua bediening. Veel mogelijkheden qua geluid en lekker licht dus makkelijk te vervoeren. Natuurlijk, het is geen echte buizenversterker maar de sound komt toch wel heel dichtbij...ik heb de Vb4 een tijdje gehad maar die ging helaas binnen een maand storen. Uiteindelijk bij de V7 beland. In eerste instantie als backup voor de Vb4 maar inmiddels als enige versterker in gebruik. Ja, de Vb4 klonk naar mijn idee nog beter maar ik heb ze niet naast elkaar kunnen testen.....In elk geval komt de V7 heel dichtbij die sound en het gedoe met buizen vervangen (laat staan het gewicht) is verleden tijd! Stuk minder duur in aanschaf ook. Bijkomend voordeel is de SVT en de B15 voicing. Dat maakt deze versterker extra interessant en veelzijdig.
Ik was van plan de Ampeg V7 tas ook aan te schaffen maar de doos waarin deze versterker geleverd wordt voldoet prima als "flightcase/ampcover". Scheelt toch weer 80 euro...
Ik gebruik hem in combinatie met de Ampeg Portaflex PF115HE cab. Werkt perfect!
