The Ashdown Studio Mini Head is a compact yet powerful bass amp top that perfectly suits the modern bassist looking for flexibility, reliability and a characterful sound. With an output power of 250 watts, this transistor delivers more than enough headroom for rehearsals, studio sessions and live performances, while its relatively low weight of 10 kg and handy size make it easily transportable. Thanks to the 5-band EQ (with rotary knobs), you have full control over your sound and can effortlessly switch between a tight, punchy bass or the warm, full-bodied sound typical of Ashdown. You can use external effects via the FX loop, but there's also a built-in drive that provides additional options and is also controlled by a convenient rotary knob.
Versatile and easy to use
For live use, the XLR DI output is ideal for connecting directly to the PA but there are also 2 jack connections for a speaker cabinet. You can also use this amp at home: the 6.35 mm headphone output allows silent practice without compromising sound quality. A connection for a footswitch is also provided, which is not included but can be purchased separately. With its rugged black finish, practical connections and powerful performance, the Ashdown Studio Mini Head is an excellent choice for bassists looking for a compact, professional bass amp head with a recognisable and musical sound.
