The Seymour Duncan PowerStage 700 Bass is a powerful and compact amplifier top for bassists with high demands on sound, reliability and mobility. Designed by Seymour Duncan's own engineer Kevin Beller, an experienced bassist himself, this 700-watt amp delivers tight lows and rich overtones in a sturdy, lightweight body. The built-in overdrive can be activated with a footswitch and gives you extra tone options when you need them. With the extensive EQ settings, including controls for treble, low mid, high mid, bass and presence, you can adjust the sound effortlessly to any room or situation. Switching between active and passive bass is also easy thanks to the handy -10 dB pad.

J'ai enfin trouvé mon ampli après en avoir essayé plusieurs en 1 an ( Markbass Hybride 800, Peavey F1200B, Trace Elliot 1200, GR Bass Pure amp 800, Peavey minimax600) ! Tous ces modèles étaient bons, mais jamais excellents, toujours un truc à reprocher et éliminatoire (ventilateur désagréable, distorsion horrible, manque de medium etc etc).
Avec ce Seymour Duncan assemblé au USA, on s'approche de la perfection.

Il peut être très neutre et mettre en avant le son pur de votre basse et de votre cab ; ou il peut prendre du caractère à volonté. Avec ses deux mediums paramétriques et son drive transparent et dosable, j'arrive à me rapprocher des sons Ampeg, Fender, Acoustic.

Mon exemplaire buzz un peu quand j'active le switch presence ou quand j'augmente le treble ; aussi, mon potentiomètre de bass est peu dur à tourner et râcle. La finition est jolie mais peut se rayer facilement, attention.
Le footswitch n'a qu'une fonction (overdrive), j'aurais adoré qu'il ait aussi la fonction EQ bypass (footswitch stéréo) pour passer facilement d'un son doigt à médiator par exemple.

A voir avec le temps la fiabilité, mais je suis rassuré car j'ai pris la garantie 3+2 ans proposé par BAX.

Beschrijving klopt helemaal Heel mooi geluid , ook op de koptelefoon . de Aux is ook heel goed bruikbaar
Ik speel nu veel meer op een simpel op je oren koptelefoon ( vanaf 16 Hertz )
goeie kwaliteit bas top.
