The Warwick DS 500 Double Stage Bass Amp Head delivers up to 500 watts at 4 ohms, or 300 watts at 8 ohms, making it suitable for larger stages and louder settings. It features two separate instrument inputs, each with its own 4-band EQ, gain and master volume. This allows you to easily switch between two different bass or tone settings, ideal for bassists who want to use multiple sounds or instruments during a set without having to turn knobs. Weighing just under 3.5 kg and 27 cm wide, you can easily take this amp anywhere.

Extended functionality

The DS 500 is designed for maximum flexibility in a variety of situations. Backing tracks can be played via the AUX-in, Bluetooth or USB connection. The latter also allows recording or audio playback via computer. Thanks to the headphone output, you practice in silence without sacrificing sound quality. You can connect a cabinet via speakon, or you can send your signal directly to a PA via the XLR DI-out, with Pre/Post EQ and cab-simulation options. External effects can be integrated via the FX send/return, and a Line Out is also available, possibly to be used in bi-amp configuration. A handy extra is the built-in tuner, activated at the touch of a button via the front panel. An adjustable compressor per channel provides extra dynamic control.
