This is the Seymour Duncan SCPB-2 Hot Single Coil P-Bass Pickup Flat. This is a 14.3 kOhm alnico 5 single-coil bass guitar pickup, intended for vintage P- or TE-style solidbody electric bass guitars. This element builds on the classic single-coil P-style design, but offers a little extra boost. With an increased number of windings in the coil, this Seymour Duncan bass guitar element delivers you more output and more powerful bass without losing the clarity of the original. The bass sound remains true to the original TE-style bass pickup, but with a richer, more dynamic sound. This Hot P-Bass Single Coil is handmade in California's Santa Barbara with carefully ground alnico 5 magnets, forbon flatwork and a vacuum wash treatment to prevent unwanted squeaking noises.
