This is the Gallien-Krueger Neo 212-IV. This is a 2x12 bass guitar speaker cabinet, intended for bass guitar amp tops and combos with an output of up to 800 watts at an impedance of 4 ohms. With a sturdy steel grille and enclosure, this Gallien-Krueger Neo bass amp speaker cabinet is designed for durability and made of lightweight plywood reinforced with reinforcements for extra ruggedness. The inside of the Neo 212-IV features damping material that ensures high frequencies are absorbed at the rear of the speaker. This prevents these frequencies from escaping through the port of this Gallien-Krueger and mixing with the high frequencies at the front, resulting in a clear and pleasing high-frequency response.

Neo 212-IV: for optimum bass guitar tones

Built into this Gallien-Krueger bass speaker cabinet are specially designed GK Neodymium woofers, which use die-cast frames. This contributes to higher durability and better power control compared to cheaper die-cast designs. The voice coils are made of edge-wound aluminium ribbon wire, which increases the efficiency and capacity of the speaker. In addition, the Neo 212-IV cabinet features a crossover and a system to protect the horn from peak loads. This model is one of the most advanced in Gallien-Krueger's line, with every detail carefully optimised to deliver optimum performance for bass guitar sounds.
