Based on a classic, the P-style Fazley FPB118SB puts a solid yet affordable starter-instrument in the hands of anyone itching to start playing the bass. Just like the American-made original, this four-string bass comes loaded with a passive split-coil pickup and a fuss-free set of tone and volume controls for dialling in some growl and punch. This complete student's pack also comes loaded with a comfortable gig bag, a strap, a clip-on tuner, and to guide you through your first riffs, you get 12-month's unlimited access to online lessons (French).

My first Bass, so this isnt exactly a review by a seasoned expert...
I am very happy with the way it sounds, plays, and looks. Stays in tune fine. Frets aren't too rough.
Wasn't too enamoured of the initial set of strings. Swapped them out for some from a recognised brand name and it now plays rather more nicely.
The info that it came with was a bit sparse. the four controls are, from neck to bridge: Tone (neck), Volume, Tone (Bridge), Mix (Neck // Bridge).
The head area has a few minor niggles - you might prefer smaller tuning pegs and to have them all be on the top, rather than having two on the underside, but this is at most a minor quibble.
At the £100 ish price point, it is good enough to get 5 stars, despite these minor issues.

very good bag.
provides a decent level of protection for my guitar. it isnt a hard case so it wouldnt be a good option for putting a guitar in hold luggage on a plane. fine for car/train /walking.
well designed for carrying, comfortable in hand.
looks durable and smart. the fabic looks reasonabl durable, hopefully the zips are too, they feel fine when new.
two pouches on the front, one of them is big enough to take A4+ papers, eg tabs etc. the other one is a good size for cable, bits and pieces, possibly even a micro pedal or two at a push.
the bass bag works fine for a regular electric guitar, so if you need a bag that can do either, this fits the bill.

A very decent bass, nice body wood, Neck and fingerboard, good quality, reasonably good tuners, seems to hold tuning well, decent bridge, reasonably loud output, the pickup gives nice low end, punchy, mid and bright Tone, I am okay with this item. A very reasonable price-point for what you get!

Prima traploos verstelbare gitaarband die niet gaat irriteren bij langer gebruik. De gitaarband rekt lichtjes, stabiel en gaat niet schuren op de huid. zeer goed prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Aanrader voor beginners en gitaristen met iets meer ervaring.
