General
Fazley's Meteor R 35 Watt combo guitar amp is a great practice amp but also packs enough punch for small gigs, providing two channels and a switch so you can easily toggle between distorted riffs and clean tone. Finished with a grey speaker cloth and chrome-plated corners, this surprisingly potent combo will never look out of place.
The Meteor R 35: Built-In Spring Reverb
Both channels come with an individual volume pot, while the distortion can be tweaked with the gain control. The Meteor R 35 also puts a 3-band EQ at your disposal so you can tweak the low, mid and high range frequencies to taste, and Fazley have polished off the amp with an actual spring reverb to guarantee a more natural-sounding effect.

Prima versterker voor deze prijs. voldoende volume, overdrive ook stevig, solide gebouwd. Wel de plop, maar de clean knop werkte hier wel goed. Helaas zeer veel brom op de reverb. Bleek dat de draden in de connectors op de print verkeer om zaten. Na omdraaien veel beter. Heb er ook een lineaire voeding in gezet van 2x20V 1A met gewone spanningsregelaars en paar dikke elco's. Geen brom meer te horen, zelfs met gain en reverb helemaal open!

Niet goed.
Deze versterker heeft op papier alles wat ik zoek in zo'n versterker.
Helaas was de mijne niet zo goed. Uit de doos ziet alles er goed uit, best zwaar en voelt kwalitatief goed aan. Maar, bij het aanzetten een flinke knal, bij het uitzetten ook. Dat hoort niet maar doet mijn tientallen jaren oude Peavey ook. Valt mee te leven. Erger, hij kan niet clean. Er is altijd, ook op het cleane kanaal, oversturing. Zowel met single coils als met humbuckers. Voor mij niet bruikbaar zo. De veren-reverb is ook maar matig. Deze is retour gegaan.
