General
Tuning machines are constantly under pressure and dust can easily get stuck in them. As a result, they can lose their function, causing your bass guitar to detune faster. One solution could be to replace your current tuners with this 189-BL set from Wilkinson. These black tuners are intended for a P-style or J-style electric bass guitar.
