An important feature of the famous Stingray bass guitar - known for its punchy rock and funk sounds - is of course its pickup. Bass players who want to get as close to the Stingray's tone as possible on a 5-string bass are well advised to opt for Aguilar's AG 5M pickup. Not only will this pickup give you the famous Music Man sound, it is also a balanced sounding pickup with plenty of trebles. What's more, to ensure a powerful bass, defined mids and clear trebles, the coils of the AG 5M pickup are wired in parallel. Combined with an OBP-1, OBP-2 or OBP-3 Aguilar preamp, this pickup gives your bass guitar an exceptionally wide range of different tones.
