DiMarzio DP120BK Model One bass guitar pickup

The DiMarzio DP120BK Model One is a humbucker element for bass guitar. This pickup is designed as a replacement element for the Gibson® EB® series. The Model One pickup also fits well in these and similar bass guitars. The placement of this element, against the neck, creates a thick sound with lots of low end. Unlike other humbuckers placed in this position, the DiMarzio DP120BK Model One does not get muddy and unclear, but remains definable and clear.

Combination

The DiMarzio Model One combines well with various elements. The humbucker works excellently with J- and P-style pickups. The combination allows for many possibilities, all passive and directly on your bass. You can send the signal of the two elements to two different amps. It is then possible to send the DiMarzio Model One to an amplifier that has a cabinet with an 18" speaker, for example. If you send the other pickup, for example a P-style element, to an amp with a 4x10" speaker cabinet, you will get a split sound with huge lows and crispy, clear highs.
