General
The YRB-61-SP is a bass recorder from Yamaha, with a baroque bore. This variant of the YRB-61 has an optional middle section with baroque tuning. It is tuned in F, as is normal for bass recorders, and plays low notes. This model has a double bore at the bottom two holes so that half-closings are easier to play. It is made of maple, a type of wood that provides warm notes. Recorder players often want natural woods because they provide deeper, fuller sounds. You get a hard case included to store it safely. Also included is cleaning material for maintaining your wooden recorder.
