Break the silence with the Yamaha SV-250 Silent Violin. It's a lightweight, comfortable instrument designed for professionals and advanced players who want an amplified, all-round violin sound. At only 500 grams, the Silent Violin weighs about the same as an acoustic version. The neck and tail piece have been modelled after the traditional violin, which makes the transition for acoustic players a little easier.

SV-250: Versatile

Yamaha have given the SV-250 Silent Violin an innovative dual pickup system so the player can blend edgy electric effects with rich acoustic sounds. It comes with an external control box with a powerful preamp, master volume, treble and bass controls. What's more, there's a jack cable and balanced XLR connector and a headphone output for practising in silence. This high-quality Yamaha instrument has an ebony fretboard and machine heads.

Prima podium viool, ik gebruik de sv250 nu 2 maanden, een aantal live optredens mee gedaan en heeft veel voordelen , het geluid van de 2 elementen is goed af te stellen in samenwerking met de voorversterker, geen geluids engineer nodig, ik ga gewoon voor de speakers staan en stel bij wat ik nodig vind.
Geeft een stabiel geluid, en een goede balans in hoge en lage snaren.
Nadelen vind ik,
De kinsteun vind ik niet helemaal geweldig, je voelt de lak overgang aan de onderzijde van de hals, en de voorversterken moet je niet aan je broek hangen, de knopjes steken uit waardoor je als je hem onder je kleding draagd, de instelling kunt verdraaien, vooral de bovenste, het volume, das niet handig.
Ik heb hem nu voor me hangen.

Pour avoir tester plusieurs violons électriques (yamaha sv150, NS Design, Yev 104...je trouve le sv 250 au dessus.
