The Yamaha SV-255: Full Dynamics & Detailed Build

To expand the range of the SV-255 violin, a fifth low-C string has been added, meaning that this instrument can be integrated into jazz and pop as well as a vast array of other genres with ease. Yamaha's own Acoustic Hollow Body Design principle has been applied to the body to ensure comfortable playability as well as enhance resonance while two pickups have been installed - each with a dedicated focus. The first has been specifically calibrated to capture the body resonance while the second accurately registers string vibration. Using the Blend control knob, both pickups can be balanced as preferred, and using the included external control box, the amplified sound can be polished with further depth.
