General

The Eurolite Akku IP TL-3 QCL Truss Light CRMX supports a mass of operating modes, including standalone mode, master/slave, IR remote control, DMX, CRMX by LumenRadio, W-DMX by Wireless Solution and RDM. The integrated wireless receiver ensures smooth CRMX control, while the mounted OLED display provides feedback in real-time, keeping you up to speed on the battery life and charging status. Also, thanks to the included remote control, saving custom settings is super simple.

Flicker-Free Light and Smooth Colour Transitions

Armed with three 10W 4-in-1 QCL RGBW LEDs and a frost filter, the Akku IP TL-3 QCL Truss Light projects broad, soft and homogeneous light at an 8-degree beam angle. The output is flicker-free and ensures smooth colour transitions and adjustable fades, and is supported by an electronic dimmer with adjustable speed. With 36 pre-loaded shows and 15 colour presets, you're always assured of impressive light shows.

Weatherproof Design

The Eurolite Akku IP TL-3 has an IP65-rated housing with a built-in pressure relief valve and a passive cooling system for silent operation. Depending on the program, you can get 10 hours of wireless performance out of it. This truss light can be set up straight or suspended, giving you some welcome installation flexibility.

Wrote the following about Eurolite AKKU IP TL-3 QCL Trusslight CRMX

Ik bezit een aantal van deze lampen, en ben er tot dusver tevreden over. Ze zijn qua bouw hetzelfde als de tl-3 IP variant zonder accu, waar ik zeer tevreden over ben: sterke metalen behuizing, goed waterdicht, volledig stil en handige vorm met name voor het aanlichten van muren of truss (maar minder handig / niet bedoeld voor ophangen in truss). Ook geeft de lamp een mooie bundel en wordt er een frost filter bijgeleverd om de bundel groter te maken, waardoor hij voor verschillende doeleinden te gebruiken is.

Naast een accu heeft deze variant ook wireless DMX via WDMX/CRMX. Dit is ideaal, want daardoor kun je de lampen neerzetten met nul kabels. Ik heb daarvoor een Avilexx WDMX Go 1 draadloze DMX transmitter gekocht bij Bax, en het is altijd even afwachten of verschillende merken echt goed met elkaar werken, maar dit werkt goed en stabiel. Wat dat betreft ook mooi dat het vrij populaire WDMX/CRMX protocol gebruikt wordt. Ik heb nog niet echt de accu tot zijn maximum gebruikt dus ik weet nog niet hoe lang deze mee gaat.

Het nadeel van deze lampen vind ik wel de prijs. Accu-lampen zijn nu eenmaal een stuk duurder, maar de huidige prijs (€370) vind ik hoog en daarmee zijn alternatieve merken mogelijk interessanter. Ook krijg je bij iedere lamp een waardeloze afstandsbediening, waarvan ik er nu zo'n 20 heb in een doos op zolder. Die zouden gewoon los verkocht moeten worden.
