General
The Orange Box-L is a mains-powered Bluetooth speaker from Orange, designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom. This larger version of the Orange Box features one 5-inch bass driver and two 2-inch tweeters. With a 30-watt RMS amplifier for the subwoofer and two 10-watt RMS amplifiers for the full-range drivers, it delivers a rich and balanced sound. The combination of a Class D amplifier for the bass and Class A/B amplification for the rest of the frequency range ensures a dynamic sound. Thanks to its compact design, the Box-L fits well on a desk or in a listening room.
Wireless and wired connections
With Bluetooth 5.0, you can stream music wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet or laptop. The speaker supports the aptX, AAC and SBC audio codecs, allowing you to choose from various compatible Bluetooth sources. There is also a 3.5mm aux input for a wired connection. On top of the speaker, there’s a power button with a power indicator, a volume control and separate controls for bass and treble. The Bluetooth pairing button lets you easily connect a device and pause or resume playback. Please note that Bluetooth is not available when using the aux input.
