This is overdrive as it was meant to be! The Electro Harmonix Nano LPB-1 is a re-edition of the very first overdrive pedal in a new die-cast jacket.

Past
Electro-Harmonix was founded in 1968 by Mike Matthews, who wanted to influence the Rock 'n Roll scene. EHX's first product was the LPB-1, the Linear Power Booster. It was the first pedal to provide overdrive and to be placed in front of the (otherwise clean) amplifier. Later on, Electro Harmonix also manufactured the Screaming Bird treble booster and the Muff Fuzz, a predecessor of the Big Muff.

Present
The Nano LPB-1 is just as powerful as the first Linear Power Booster and offers the same thing: nothing but pure overdrive! With the Nano LPB-1 you get more gain, more output and more effect. The pedal is practical and rugged and will last you for decades to come. The Electro Harmonix Linear Power Booster is just as relevant today as it ever was!
