General
Sela cajons are known for their excellent quality, and the Varios series instruments are no exception, proving that you don't need to break the bank to own a great-sounding cajon. This SE050 model has a 15mm-thick body made of 11 plies of birch, giving it a rich sound with beautifully emphasised lows. Finally, its adjustable snare wires give the Sela Varios SE 050 that authentic crisp cajon sound, while its frontplate is adorned with a beautiful red poplar veneer.
Varios SE 050: more than an entry-level instrument
While the Varios SE 050 was designed for beginner percussionists, even advanced players will find plenty to like about this cajon! Take the specially designed Clap Corners, for instance, or the removable snare wires, which allow you to quickly transition to a traditional Peruvian cajon sound. You can even add additional sets of separately available snare wires to give its sound a bit more bite. In short, both percussionists and drummers should definitely take a look at the Sela Varios cajon; it can be a great addition to your instrument setup!

Een prima muziekinstrument met goed geluid, maar aan de bovenkant/voorkant brak er na 1 keer gebruik een stukje hout af. De voorkant zat blijkbaar niet helemaal vast.

J’en ai mis du temps à me décider avant de choisir ce cajon !
J’en cherchais un qui puisse être débrayable pour avoir la caisse à nue, sans l’emmener dans des prix exorbitants pour mon portefeuille. Je suis ravie !
Bonne basse, j’ai juste dévissé le haut de 45° (donc à peine) pour avoir plus de snare quand je le mets. Franchement top !

De Sela red velvet is een mooi instrument, maar ik zocht toch een andere klank. Ik kon deze omruilen voor een Meinl WCP 100MH Woodcraft

Très joli cajon, avec un son superbe et naturel, pas trop de snare ( on peut lenlever en plus si souhaité) un bon basse... en plus un bon rapport qualité prix.

Dit is een schitterend uitziende cajon met een mooie diepe klank, ik heb er een extra snarenmat bij gekocht waardoor het geluid in de hogere regionen nog beter tot zijn recht komt!
