The Sela offer up the quality of a Varios Series cajon bundled up with a great pack of accessories and make it available to all beginner percussionists for an attainable price. The Varios Red cajon is constructed from 15mm-thick, 11-ply birch plywood, gifting it with a full and deep-diving sound, while an adjustable internal snare mat delivers crisp, snare-like slaps, and if the snare sound isn't quite big enough for your tastes, you can easily add a second one. And just to confirm this is no average entry-level cajon, it's been finished with specially designed 'clap corners'.
An On-the-Road Cajon
So you can safely tote your cajon to lessons, rehearsals, and shows, Sela have thrown in a form-fitting backpack complete with 6mm-thick padding and a tear and water-resistant exterior to ensure that your instrument is fully protected from dust, dirt, and the odd shower. On top of that, a comfy seat pad has been included and finished with an anti-slip underside.
A Complete Pack
With full focus on complete beginners, the Varios Red comes with a the 'Learn to Play - Quick and Easy' cajon lesson book. Besides tips and exercises, this book includes both a DVD and CD guide.
