General
The Grado Prestige 78E stylus was designed for your Grado 78 RPM cartridge and features an elliptical stylus tip. Equipped with a 3mm diamond, it accurately tracks the wide grooves of your 78RPM vinyl. A regular LP stylus is much narrower, and is not only more susceptible to surface noise, but may also damage your 78RPM vinyl. The Grado Prestige 78E keeps your 78RPM records in mint condition, and reproduces their sound in all its glory.
The Grado Prestige 78RPM cartridge
The 78RPM cartridges from Grado's Prestige series boast a high output voltage, and under average playing conditions, they have an estimated life of 600 to 1,000 hours. Thanks to its wide frequency response and superior sound, the Grado 78 RPM is one of the top 78RPM cartridges available.
Tips or comments about this product
- Please note: A 78RPM stylus is only suitable for playing 78RPM records, which have wider grooves. Using this stylus for standard records may permanently damage them.
