General

The high-grade Audio Technica VM540ML cartridge features a specialised microline stylus to result in extreme, low noise performance and surgically accurate tracking. The unique shape of the micro-linear stylus dives deep into the harder-to-reach recesses of the grooves which simply gives you better sound, while the curve of the stylus prevents audio degradation, even after a little stylus wear - guaranteeing optimum sound for longer. The magnets inside this Moving Magnet cartridge are placed in a V shape, so that the exact position of the left and right channels are beautifully matched, while an internal central protective plate efficiently reduces crosstalk anywhere up to 40 decibels. The overall result is professional channel separation, an enhanced frequency response and superior tracking.
