General
Ortofon's Concorde Club MK2 Twin set contains two of the brand's flagship cartridges and styluses that were designed especially for club DJs, though they can also be used for studio applications. They're equipped with an elliptical stylus that sits deeper in the vinyl's groove than a spherical stylus, resulting in highly-defined and detailed audio. The Concorde Club MK2 has a high output voltage capacity of 8 mV to ensure enough volume and as such, requires little pre-amplification. These Concorde Club MK2s are ideal for digitising your vinyl collection too and come in a special hard case including a brush.

Acheté en B-Stock : juste un petit défaut sur la boite. Ces cellules remplacent mes vielles SC35 Shure sur mes SL1210 MKII et c'est le jour et la nuit. Plus de clareté, de niveau. Trés bonne qualité et en plus en elliptique. C'est parfait pour ce que j'en fait mais pas trop adapté pour le scratch

wat een drama slecht element / naald, extreme "sibilance" op veel platen. In gebruik met 12" maxis op een goed afgestelde SL1210, dus daar kan t niet aan liggen. Ik dacht dat ik een upgrade in geluid zou krijgen tov de ortofon concorde pro. Die waren prima. Weet zeker dat t aan deze MK2 ligt (swap gedaan met andere mixer, vergelijk met zelfde nummer via CD, via koptelefoon etc. om zeker te weten dat t echt zo is )

Al met al hele goede naalden. Tracking is top met al 3 gram. Heel helder geluid, vooral de hoge frequenties. En een behoorlijk output volume, wat fijn is met bijv. Allen & Heath mixers die niet de meest krachtige pre-amps hebben.
Alleen zoals altijd met hele goede apparatuur hoor je dus ook alle fouten in je platen. Popjes, kraakjes etc vallen meer op.
Dus zeker als je wat ouder vinyl draait zou ik zeker niet zomaar deze naalden kopen. Persoonlijk vindt ik het verschil met mijn Tonar Bananas ook niet enorm qua geluid, daarbij moet ik wel zeggen dat deze naalden echt in moeten spelen en ze beginnen steeds beter te klinken. Of mijn oren wennen er aan, dat kan natuurlijk ook.....

Boven verwachting goed, ik had er veel over gelezen en gehoord dat deze elementen het neusje van de zalm zijn onder de DJ elementen qua geluid......... Het klopt een lekkere dikke sound met veel details van de muziek. Met handige case waar je ook je eerder gekochte concorde MK1 in kan bewaren.

Topset, geeft heerlijk rijk geluid. Dit type elliptische naalden geeft echt een beter geluid weer dan de sferische naalden. De opbergcase maakt het handig voor dj's die veel reizen en hun eigen apparatuur mee willen nemen, zoals ik.
