General

With the JICO Omnia J44A7 DJ element, you can get off to a good start as a DJ or turntablist. This is because the stylus has a fairly high tracking capacity of 3.5 to 4.5 grams, and has a high output of as much as 8 mv. The Shure equivalents of this moving magnet cartridge are the M44-7 and the N44-7, which themselves have a lower tracking capacity. The cartridge features a sturdy aluminium headshell and has a diamond spherical needle. In terms of sound, expect quite a bit of low-end - ideal for styles like techno and hip-hop! The stylus is finished in white and has a protective cap.
