General
The Stentor SR1591A Elysia 4/4 cello is a high-quality musical instrument from the Pro Series, entirely handmade for the serious cellist. This cello is crafted with the utmost care in a specialist workshop, where experienced craftsmen use traditional techniques. The top is carved from selected spruce, whilst the back, sides and neck are made from beautifully flamed maple. The inlay is fully recessed, and the cello is finished with a traditional shellac varnish for an authentic look. Thanks to the ebony fingerboard and tuning pegs, combined with Pirastro strings, this cello delivers a powerful and nuanced sound, whilst prioritising playing comfort and durability. Each instrument is individually adjusted in the workshop.
