The Sabian FRX is a rather distinctive line of cymbals. They are in fact between practice cymbals and standard cymbals in terms of volume, but with the sound you are used to from 'real' cymbals! So too is the 18-inch FRX China. This cymbal has the same short, biting sound you are used to from china, but just a lot softer. That makes this cymbal the ideal china for drummers who often play in small venues such as pubs. It allows you to maintain a civilised volume without having to hold back.
