Each of the reeds in the Vandoren CR623 Bass Clarinet Reed 5-pack features a 3 strength rating and the same diameter as standard alto saxophone reeds. The tip is a touch broader than standard to ensure even richer resonance and result in full sound with plenty of attack. These reeds have also been designed to last longer than traditional reeds.
