General
The sound of any clarinet partly depends on the reed being played on. Vandoren knows this like no other, as this Parisian manufacturer has been developing accessories for clarinet and saxophone since 1905. The V21 reed is a combination of two existing models, namely the 56 rue Lepic and the V.12, creating a new type that gives the player a warm tone across all registers. No matter how large the interval, the same warmth continues to resonate. The type 3.5 plus was developed as an intermediate step between types 3.5 and 4, to give a wide choice to the clarinetist.
