Cordoba Esteso SP Luthier Select Classical Guitar with Case

Inspired by some of the most respected luthiers of all time and bearing an all solid build, including a spruce soundboard and pau ferro body, the Cordoba Luthier Select Series presents the Esteso SP. This classical guitar is a shimmering ode to Domingo Esteso: a Spanish luthier who crafted instruments between 1890 until the 1930s. His guitars featured a lightweight design with a strong acoustic projection and high volume - all details that have been faithfully recreated in this model. Lightly coloured spruce has been combined with darker pau ferro, which has a similar timbre to rosewood, and here, the whole has been given a thin coat of gloss polyurethane to protect the wood while keeping its natural tone fully intact.

Signature Bracing

Like every Luthier Select Series model, the Esteso SP has been built entirely by hand and it shows on all sides. The standard of the finish is nothing short of outstanding - from the fine maple binding to the mother-of-pearl inlaid soundhole rosette, everything has been applied with expert care. Even the interior of this guitar bears detailed thought. The bracing structure echoes the bracing used by Domingo Esteso himself, resulting in a powerfully full sound with masses of sustain and a clearly articulated and projected mid-range. And, to keep this singular classical guitar in top condition, Cordoba has included a Deluxe Humidified Archtop Wood Case.
