General

This Ortega Ranger Series RRA-PLBKT Guitar is indeed a classical guitar, although you might be mistaken at first glance. With the compact size and shape of a parlor guitar, and open-gear tuners that are more often seen in combination with metal strings, this RRA-BKT has the modern looks of a western guitar. But it does have nylon strings, which also guarantee the soft, warm sound of a classical guitar. In terms of playing comfort, too, this guitar combines the best of both worlds: the neck is narrower than that of a standard classical guitar, so you don't have to stretch your fingers as far and put as much force into pressing the strings. The gloss black finish on the spruce top finishes off the modern design perfectly, light ABS bindings provide a nice contrast to the mahogany body. A sturdy gig bag is included in the price.
