General

This Ortega Ranger Series RRA-PLT Guitar is indeed a classical guitar, although you might be mistaken at first glance. With the compact size and shape of a parlor guitar, and open-gear tuners that are more often seen in combination with metal strings, this RRA-PLT has the modern looks of a western guitar. But it does have nylon strings, which guarantee the soft, warm sound of a classical guitar. In terms of playing comfort, this guitar also combines the best of both worlds: the neck is narrower than that of a standard classical guitar, so you don't have to stretch your fingers as far and apply as much force to press the strings. The gloss platinum finish on the spruce top finishes off the modern design perfectly, light ABS bindings provide a nice contrast to the mahogany body. Included in the price is a sturdy gig bag, finished with a matching colour accent.
